What to include in photos
- A wide shot. Step back and show the whole wall or side of the house.
- A close shot. Show the crack, stain, hole or loose spot. Put a coin or key next to a crack for scale.
- Nearby trouble spots. Windows, parapet caps, roof lines and the base of the wall near sprinklers.
- Inside, if needed. Any stain or damp spot on an inside wall behind the damage.
